noun a form of cricket in which the person batting must run if he or she hits the ball. Compare hit-and-run, tip-and-go, tip-and-run, tippy cricket, tippy-go-run, tippy-runs, tipsy, tipsy-run. Also, tippety cricket, tippety runs, tippety.
Contributor's comments: tippedy run: a variation of tippy-go run, used when I was a kid in Victoria (Mornington Peninsula) in 1970s and 1980s.
