Grass Castle

Expression used to describe a rather large home - usually assumed that it was built by a 'wealthy' person involved in organised crime/drugs. Heard this expression in Griffith, NSW: That bloke's must have 'worked' hard to build himself a Grass Castle!

Contributor's comments: I have heard the term applied to houses in Goulburn Valley, Victoria orchard area - implying profits from other [illegal] crops.
