Contributor's comments: A "Breville" was always refered to as a "Jaffle" when I was younger and was made in a "Jaffle iron" heated over the stove. My son came home from school with "Breville" one day, made with.... a "Breville" ( product name) iron.
Contributor's comments: Sandwich makers became known as "Brevilles" (and hence the delightful "Sunbeam Breville" for the sandwich maker made by Sunbeam ...).
