Kavlotic

A derivative from the Greek word "Kavlotico". I used this word after a trip to visit my grandparents in Greece back in 1973. Upon my return to Sydney I used the word with children of Greek parentage who understood the Greek meaning of the word in our general day-to-day conversations and over time it became a part of our common language (which we still use today with friends and family) to describe something that we liked or something of interest, and didn't think anything of it until recently while I was watching the Aristos cooking show (BYO Kitchen) on Channel 7 in Sydney. Aristos the chef (I believe a Perth resident and nearly 20 years younger than myself) who is also of Greek parentage used it to describe some of his cooking. "Kavlotic" meaning sensual or an arousal of the senses: What a kavlotic tasting dish that was! Isn't she a kavlotic looking chick?
