Wallaby Bob's Cousin

Wallaby Bob's cousin, is Roo Ted. So you say.....: Gosh I am feeling like Wallaby Bob's Cousin (therefore I am feeling roo-ted). Also, Wallabies.

Contributor's comments: Heard this originally in S.E.Qld in the 70's but as the expression "Give me a few minutes mate I'm a bit Wallaby Bobbed right now"

Contributor's comments: Wallaby Bob's Cousin (Roo Ted) was commonly used at High School (Scone High, late 80's). The meaning changed for me in the early 90's when I started working in the town of Quirindi, NSW. The local eccentric of the area lived in the village of Wallabadah (15km east of Quirindi) and his nick name was Wallaby Bob (Wallabadah Robert). Therefore in Quirindi, Wallaby Bob's Cousin refers to someone that has done something stupid or behaves in an eccentric manner.

Contributor's comments: "Wallaby Bob's cousin" doesn't make any sense. I've only ever heard it as "Wallaby Ted's cousin", which does.
