Routers can usually be spotted by the excessive silly stickers on their utes, the oversized aerials and bullbars that compensate for life in general, their upturned shirt collars and annoying mannerisms while drinking bundy: "Rooooouuuuuuuter!!!!!" (the mating call of a drunken rural, not realising they're taking the piss of themselves)
