Contributor's comments: Hello. I am legally trained and I recently moved from Adelaide to Melbourne. The higher courts in SA call a list of charges "Information" and Magistrates call theirs "complaints". In Victoria, it is "Presentment" and "Information" respectively. In SA, an "indictment" would be the equivalent to a "charge". Any other legally trained persons out there who can sort this out?
